General Policies
All SymToys products are for sale only to those who are 18 years of age or over. By placing an order with SymToys (on the Web site, by mail, or in any other way), or by downloading any software from the SymToys Web site, or by browsing the SymToys Web site, you certify that you are a legal adult, age 18 or over, and that you are living in a place where this material does not violate the standards of your community.
Furthermore, in the case of computer software, you should understand that if you are not a legal adult, age 18 or over, then you specifically do not have a license to own, use, or register any of the software on this site. If you are not at least 18 years of age, and you download any software from this site, you are in violation of the software license.
SymToys does not knowingly sell or distribute any product not legal for sale in the United States.

Privacy
SymToys collects personally identifiable information only for the purpose of answering inquiries or delivering products. We do not, and we never will, sell, rent, exchange, or otherwise release any of your private information for any reason with any other business entity. Any information you give us is used only for the purpose you've specified.
SymToys does not engage in any commercial mailing or bulk emailing practices whatsoever. We will not spam you, nor give your email address to anyone else. Nor do we engage in any telephone solicitation, nor trade or distribute telephone numbers, names, mailing addresses, or any other personal information. We believe these practices are bad business, and we will not associate with any marketing entity that engages in them.
We do retain records of orders, strictly for the purpose of inventory and recording software registrations. These records are kept private and are not shared with any other entity except for the purpose of delivering products (for example, your shipping address is placed on the outside of any packages we send you, for obvious reasons).
All orders placed online are handled by an SSL secure server. This helps protect sensitive information, such as credit card information, from prying eyes. Orders placed online are stored on our server using secure encryption, so even if our server should be hacked, no sensitive information will be released.
Online orders for Onyx registration are handled by a shopping cart system hosted by our parent company, www.obsidianfields.com. You may view or modify your order as many times as you like before you place it; no information is sent to us until you decide to finalize your order.
Symtoys also makes available products from other companies. Online orders placed with these companies are governed by the terms and conditions of these companies and are not the responsibility of Symtoys.
Shipping
Orders for SymToys products are shipped via UPS Ground from Tampa, Florida. We ship your order in a plain, unmarked box, which has nothing to suggest its contents anywhere on it. The return address for shipped orders is "Obsidian Fields Inc, 1312 Chase Common Drive, Norcross, GA 30071."
The shipping charges on the Web order form do not accurately reflect shipping outside the continental United States. For such orders, you will be billed the actual shipping charges.
Orders which do not ship (for example, registration orders for software) will usually be filled within 4 business days of the order. When you register software online, you will be emailed the registration codes for the software you are ordering. Please, take special care to make sure you give us your correct email address! Occasionally, people do not type their email address correctly. This can make it very difficult to get you your registration code!
For any order, whether for products or for software registration, your credit card will reflect a charge from "Obsidian Fields, Inc."
Terms and Conditions
For orders shipped to the United States, we accept VISA and MasterCard. Orders billed to any credit card must include the correct billing address for the credit card, even if the order is being shipped elsewhere.
We ship all orders as fast as we possibly can. Generally, this means 2-4 business days for software registration. Orders for some products, such as Symphony, may take as long as 4 weeks to ship.
Please note that, while everything that we sell is legal to sell in the U.S., foreign governments and customs authorities can have different ideas of what is legal to import. We cannot accept responsibility for any orders confiscated or seized by foreign customs or governments, and all import duties, tariffs and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
Note that all computer software is non-returnable and is provided "as-is." We don't offer any warranty on software, nor do we guarantee that any software will be perfect or bug-free. However, we do generally try to fix known bugs in our software, and bug-fix updates are generally free of charge. If you discover a bug in our software, please, let us know!
